Today is a historic day for the people of Liverpool. After 27 years Liverpool fans have finally been exonerated of any blame for the terrible tragedy of Hillsborough.
It has been a long battle to achieve today’s result and we pay tribute to the determination and dedication of the families of the 96 and everyone else who has campaigned for justice.
We hope today’s result gives some satisfaction and closure to those most affected. We also hope that no other group ever has to struggle so hard and for so long to achieve the justice they deserve
