Sefton Park: Council goes ahead despite it all

A few weeks ago we reported that Liverpool City Council was planning to dispose of a Local Wildlife Site in Sefton Park to expand the Cricket Club. We provided details here

We’ve nothing against cricket as such, but protecting wildlife is essential, and Britain is one of the worst countries for destroying it. This article in the Independent describes why it matters.
