Good news from the national Green Party’s Green Herald:
Membership of the Green Party has been increasing more than any time since the 2017 General Election.
Over 900 new people joined the party in December and over 800 joined in October and November.
At the same time, the Green Party are polling higher than at any point since 2015 and Green parties are growing and governing all across Europe, it is clear that Green issues are becoming ever more prominent in people’s minds.
Compared to this time last year, over 4 times as many people have joined our movement for social and climate justice and with some crucial local elections in May, as well as the potential for national elections at any point, 2019 promises to be an exciting year to be a part of the Green Party of England and Wales.
