A good councillor is someone who places themselves in the heart of the community. Someone who listens to the concerns of their constituents and find ways to resolve issues within the community by being a link between the council and the people who live within their ward.
Having lived in the Princes Park ward for the last five years and bringing up my children here, I am already well-placed to be the accountable representative that our ward needs. I am an active local campaigner and I will continue to campaign for what our community needs most – good quality, affordable housing; safer streets and a cleaner, greener environment.
